Come along to St Nicholas church halls on Sunday 1 October to learn about and taste delicious food prepared by local chefs. There will also be activities for young and old, including food quizzes, crafts and liquid Ghanaian chocolate!
From 8.45am a breakfast of Armenian porridge and Shakshooka will be served by Firas from The Vine Leaves restaurant, who will be talking about Middle Eastern and Asian breakfast specialities. Coffee, tea and cold drinks will be available.
10.30 – 11.30am Mehmet from the Hitchin Coffee Lab will be serving and talking about coffee from around the world with the chance to sample and take away 10 single origin coffees, and at the same time enjoy spice cakes and plantain pudding.
From 11.45 Patti, one of Novelli’s chefs, will be sharing her knowledge of Ghana and its cooking and will prepare and serve a traditional Ghanaian lunch.
