St. Mary’s Hall Hire

St Mary’s church has two rooms to hire – the main church hall and the Janet Campbell Room, and so is the ideal venue for various gatherings from kids’ parties, exercise classes, clubs, business/community meetings and beyond!  

The church is located on the Luton Road, approximately one mile to the north of town and is adjacent to the beautiful Kinsbourne Green Common

Church Hall

The hall is 9.6 metres x 5.35 metres and can hold up to 50 people standing, comfortably. We suggest that for a seated meeting that you have no more than 35 and for a children’s party 25.

The hall is on one level, with a small slope and a step to enter the hall or a flatter entrance via the church entrance making it accessible to wheelchair users. It also has a disabled toilet with baby changing facilities as well as a further two separate toilets.

There are 12 large tables, 7 small tables and 40 chairs available for using as required.

It is non smoking throughout. It does not have an alcohol licence but it is possible to bring your own with the relevant permissions. Outside entertainment such as a disco or a bouncy castle may be brought in.

There is also a kitchen equipped with a fridge, electric cooker and oven, sink, microwave and with plenty of surfaces for preparation and storage. There is an urn, large teapots, china cups, saucers, bowls sideplates and plates as well as jugs for juice, plastic beakers, knives, forks and teaspoons.

There is a free car park to the rear of the hall with spaces for up to 20 cars (please note that this is not exclusive to hall users)

Janet Campbell Room Hire

The Janet Campbell Room in the upstairs extension of St Mary’s Church is an ideal venue for small meetings. It can seat a maximum of 15 comfortably when set up as a formal meeting with tables. It can hold a maximum of 20 in a less formal set up.

It has a self contained kitchenette with a sink, kettle, cups, saucers, plates and spoons for making hot and cold drinks.

Please note that it is accessed via stairs, so it is not suitable for the infirm or disabled.

There is a free car park to the rear of the hall with spaces for up to 20 cars (please note that this is not exclusive to hall users)
