St. Mary’s church and hall were packed yesterday evening with 15 teams of quizzers who had braved the snow to make the quiz a well supported event. Our intellects were initially tested by having to work out the names of the rounds of questions from a set of anagrams. Once revealed, it became clear we were going back to school to be tested on subjects as varied as history, geography, P.E. and of course, R.E. Only when the anagrams were unpacked could a team play its joker. The evening was most enjoyable, and £902 was raised for Canine Partners (https://caninepartners.org.uk/).
