Who are we?
We are a lively group of mainly 30- and 40-something women linked to St. Nicholas’ Church who meet on the 2nd Wednesday of the month (during term time).
What do we do?
Our aim is to promote and enjoy fellowship, raise some money for charity and generally have a good time.
We organise a range of social events including pub nights, wine tasting, craft evenings, meals out, pooled suppers.
We try to raise funds for charity by holding the occasional cake stall after the 9.30 service and also by donating any proceeds from our events.
We also do outreach work, for example if someone is struggling with a new baby or recovering from an operation we try to help out.
We help out a few times a year in Cornelia’s coffee shop on Saturday mornings.
How can I join?
If you’re new to Harpenden or just fancy getting out more, why not come along and try one of our meetings? Please email Claire Petevinos, Rochelle Cherry or another member of our committee to ask to be added to our distribution list.
You don’t need to be a member of St. Nicholas Church to come!
Please contact Claire Petevinos or another committee member via the Parish Office.
