Welcome! All Saints’ Church has long cherished its well-deserved reputation for its friendliness. We are small enough that you can get to know most of our members, and large enough to have plenty going on.
Our ministry caters both for those who prefer a traditional form of worship, and equally those with a more informal approach. As a church we consider ourselves a family and so greatly value all ages and stages of life. You can find us on Station Rd, a short distance from the junction with the Lower Luton Rd.
During the Pandemic
We are currently meeting for worship at 10am every Sunday. During the pandemic we have held highly successful live online services via Zoom. We have combined both previous congregations and have contributions from members from across the church including the children. A children’s sharing spot is a highlight, in which they show the activities they have been doing, sent out during the week.
When the rules allow the church building to be open we hold innovative “mixed mode” services, in which those on site and those online have been able to participate and contribute equally.
Joining details for our Zoom services are available to members through weekly emails. Details can be obtained from our Associate Vicar – firstname.lastname@example.org , the Parish Office – email@example.com, or any member of the congregation you may know.
Before the pandemic we had two Sunday services: a 9.30 Communion service and an 11.30 Worship service, more geared to children and families, which includes Communion once a month.
We love to celebrate together and so on festivals and special occasions our talented Catering Committee often provide us with wonderful food. Indeed, some might say that our reputation for food rivals that for our welcome!
We regard housegroups as an important way of supporting and getting to know one another, and of deepening our faith and our knowledge and understanding of the Bible. At least one has moved online but expect to see others resume when we can once again meet together in our homes.
Our Associate Vicar
Revd. James Brown joined us in the autumn with a specific mandate to grow the church in new ways. He has already impressed us with his personal touch, his thoughtful preaching and his media skills. You can sample his work, involving many church members, on our YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNu81X36EtgZOyoYNEnkSZA
You can contact him at firstname.lastname@example.org or 01582 363789.
